As of just a few minutes ago Mitt Romney has officially bowed out of the race for the Republican nomination! This means we really are in a two man race between John McCain and Mike Huckabee (sorry Ron Paul). The media is already reporting that the race is essentially over and that this solidifies John McCain winning the nomination. I guarantee that if Huckabee had left the race and it was Romney vs McCain they would be claiming that Romney has a chance now. Well, the truth is that Huckabee now has a real chance. I admit that chance is low, but America loves the underdog. Romney and Huckabee were splitting the conservative vote and now there is only one real conservative left in the race, Mike Huckabee. So I think the race is certainly on! There are still more delegates to win, and Mike can win them!
Mike Huckabee is in this to win and I am praying that fellow conservatives out there will see that Huckabee is an excellent candidate, or at least concede that he is a much better choice than John McCain and begin rallying for Huckabee!
Go Mike Go!
